The second presentation was by far the most engaging for me, largely because it involved the most challenges. Preparing my portion of the PowerPoint wasn’t particularly difficult, especially because of my enthusiasm for history, but the actual presentation brought some unexpected obstacles. Despite clear planning and role assignments, we faced some confusion, particularly with slides that were too text-heavy, which caused a few headaches. Despite these setbacks, the group as a whole performed well, and I hope that everyone takes the time to better memorize their lines for future presentations. This experience has been extremely valuable for me, especially in terms of public speaking. As an EMT, being able to communicate effectively with patients is crucial, and this presentation helped me build my confidence. Chris and Ivanna performed admirably, with Chris delivering a concise slide and Ivanna sharing helpful images and information. David’s analysis of voting processes in other...

This second presentation was particularly engaging for me because it came with the most challenges. The planning and preparation for my part of the PowerPoint wasn’t too difficult, especially since I’m passionate about history and how everything fits together, making the Electoral College history a perfect topic for me. Once I learned my lines and understood the transitions, the rest just fell into place. Despite clear planning and everyone knowing their roles, there were a few issues along the way, like confusion about the process and adding too many words to the slides, which led to some headaches. Overall, most of the group did well, and I hope everyone takes time to memorize their lines more thoroughly for the future. I found this presentation to be beneficial in my personal life, particularly as public speaking is an essential talent. Being able to interact with patients more successfully enhances my capacity to perform my duties as a dentist. In their respective divisions, ...

This second presentation was one of the most interesting one as it was the one filled with the most issues for me. As the overall planning and preparation for my portion of the PowerPoint wasn’t too bad. As me being a sucker for history and how things piece together was the perfect choice for the electoral college history. Overall, the process of the transitions and learning my own lines and stuff of that sort just came with the job. Despite the clear planning and process for everyone that got their jobs and roles there was a bit of issues here and there. From confusion towards the process and over addition of words and text of the slides it all has a lot of headaches. Although most of the group did quite well and I don’t have too many issues with them and only hope they really memorize their lines for the future. This presentation has helped quite a lot out in my own personal life and speaking i...

Hi everyone In our recent class presentation on "Election Matters," we explored how voting, policies, and social issues affect the choices people make in elections. Our class was divided into four groups, each covering a different topic that plays a key role in shaping election results. Group #1 focused on the electorate and how elections work, Group #2 discussed immigration, Group #3 covered education, and Group #4 talked about gender equality. In this reflection, I will share my thoughts on how we prepared for the presentation, how it went, and the lessons I learned from the experience. When preparing for our presentation at first I wasn’t really familiar with the topic we where assigned but our professor made sure to sit with us and give us ideas on what we could speak about which really helped us, when we asked her questions she will answer them for us which really helped me a lot , when we had questions about the Electoral College, Zhang explained it to us, whic...

Elections are considered the backbone of democracy; they decide who will lead and the direction in policy and the future. Recent class presentations emphasized that elections are at the center and pointed out the differences among parties on important issues like gender equality, education, immigration, and the process of election. These comments were a powerful reminder that an election is more than a nomination at all—it’s a decision about the values and policies that govern society. This blog reflects on the lessons learned from these presentations, which have been refined with research perspectives, historical data, and perspectives from a variety of people in the community. One of the leading themes in the presentations was gender equality. Despite decades of progress, gender equality remains a central and divisive issue on electoral platforms. Historically, the fight for gender equality in America has been waged in waves—voting...

Today, I want to talk the presentation, and how it went, and the things we discussed and discovered. The Evolving Art" chapters 1, 2, 3, and 5 were studied by my group. Group two covered chapters 4, 6, 7, and 8, while the other groups concentrated on various chapters. 12, 10, 11, and 10 were covered by group 3. Group 4 then discussed chapters 13, 14, 15, and 16 in its entirety. Key ideas that can significantly enhance public speaking abilities were our main focus. We made it through the presentation, and I think we did a terrific job, even though we were a little anxious because it was our first. Let's discuss everything that was discussed and how it went. Due to my self-assurance and flawless delivery of my part, the first group presentation went well considering the circumstances. Still, I've started to practice my pace and cadence for these kinds of talks going forward at the urging of my classmates. In the end, my team members all performed admirably. They all perfor...

The first group presentation was well given the circumstances, as I delivered my portion perfectly well and had good confidence in myself. Although at the behest of my classmate’s opinions I have started to work on my tempo and rhythm for such speeches in the future. Overall, everyone did great in my team. Although they were all nervous and delivered their lines in a very anxious way, they conveyed their own ideas and information in a fantastic way. Within the first chapter and the second chapter we went over the basic ideas of speech and the history of speech. History is most usually my best subject and a passion of mine of having that portion of the presentation having something about history really helped me get my footing during my presentation. Also, additionally group 1 slides or presentation being the general guideline of a good presentation has given me a lot of ideas for what to do in the future when it regards presentations. Having a vital understanding of the audience ...
